Le Manoir de Lorient
This is a hidden treasure in tropical gardens with huge palm trees, yet only a few steps from the beach and lovely village of Lorient. The main house, recognizable by its wide and low roof, is an original and authentic 18th century French manor house from Normandy, that was shipped piece by piece by the first owners in the 1980’s. Recently renovated by its new owners, the villa has been tastefully decorated in a refined and contemporary style.
There are several pavilions in the garden with separate areas for relaxing, including under a gazebo. There is a large heated pool, terrace with loungers and deck chairs and an outdoor sound system.
The vast living room opens onto the terrace furnished with sofas, armchairs and wooden coffee tables on a waxed concrete floor. Above, the large mezzanine is a great place for peace and quiet. There is a fully equipped kitchen with the possibility of eating inside or on the covered terrace.
The property has seven large bed rooms housed in pavilions located in the tropical garden. All have king size or twin beds. One of the rooms shares a bathroom with another room, making it an ideal setup for a family. Dressing rooms, mezzanines, outdoor showers, and private patios: each room has its own unique character.
